4 More Charged In Mahmoudiya Case
4 soldiers, besides Steven Green, have been in the rape/murder of Iraqi citizens in Mahmoudiya.

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- Four U.S. soldiers in Iraq are charged with participation in the "rape and murder of a young Iraqi woman and three members of her family," the U.S. military said Sunday.

The soldiers are "accused of rape and murder," the military said in a news release.

A fifth soldier is accused of dereliction of duty for failing to report the offenses.

There was a time - we’re talking like 10 days ago - when I felt that crimes committed by US soldiers in Iraq go unnoticed by officials. I’m glad to see that this case has been investigated and charges have been filed. I really want to throw heaps of praise on our military for getting to the bottom of this. So here… here are your heaps. They don’t come often from me, so, like, eat them up, or something.
