My education is in psychology. Law, as interesting as it is to me, is not something that I am really educated in, and I have no problem admitting that. With that said, the anger by Congress – coming from both Repubs and Dems – about the raid on Jefferson’s office
makes no sense to me.
If anyone, including members of the government, is breaking the law, don’t they have a right to be searched? This was done the legal way, with a search warrant (I’m glad those things are still being used), so I’m not at all sure of the argument that Congress is trying to use. Honestly, to me, it seems like they want to make sure their illegal tendencies are protected.
