Bush Censoring Science
It seems we “whacky liberals” were right about Bush being in the . (h/t Daily Kos)

As a government scientist, James Hansen is taking a risk. He says there are things the White House doesn't want you to hear but he's going to say them anyway.

Hansen is arguably the world's leading researcher on global warming. He's the head of NASA's top institute studying the climate. But this imminent scientist tells correspondent Scott Pelley that the Bush administration is restricting who he can talk to and editing what he can say. Politicians, he says, are rewriting the science.

For a long time, Conservatives have been calling liberals “crazy tree huggers”, because we “believed the unproved idea of Global Warming”. Well, it seems that the data actually does support us, and the information only appeared to be unproven because that is how the White House wanted it to look. It may be a jump to say that this data wasn’t released because of a pact between Bush and the oil companies, but I’m not sure why else his administration would purposely censor these findings.

This government is showing that Liberals are not as crazy as Conservatives would like the world to believe. Once again, one of our “whacky ideas” is proven true. Global Warming is real, and the Bush administration is censoring the data so that the public thinks it’s not.
